HOURS: Full time
SALARY RANGE: £30,000 - £41,301
Details:

37.5 hours per week, and will be flexible across a 7-day week, between the hours of 07:30 – 22:00.

1 on-call shift a week, and one on-call working weekend in 4.

We approach things a little differently at Loddon, offering a home-based style education, with children learning through play and experience new life skills. The Role

Loddon is made up of 7 houses, supporting 4-5 children in each house with a team of dedicated staff. The role will be to lead in and ensure the delivery of high-quality care within the assigned house.

The role is strategic with daily input into operational matters where your expertise will ensure appropriate outcomes. You will lead, coach, and guide your team to manage daily operational issues and ensure appropriate paperwork and reports are completed on time.

What is essential for the role?

You will need to have working knowledge of the Children’s Home (England) Regulations 2015 and how it translates into practice. As a natural leader you will remain calm in a crisis, be able to create an engaging and dynamic environment and inspire your team to deliver the highest level of care to the children. Safeguarding will be at the forefront of everything you do.

It is essential that the right candidate holds a Level 5 in Residential Childcare or the equivalent and can demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the sector, and 2 years of leadership.

The successful applicant will undertake the Pearson BTEC Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Care (England) as part of their ongoing development, and so a willingness to commit to further study is essential.

Between £30,000 – £41,301 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

You will also receive a monthly on-call allowance.
